BFI | Ted & Noel

For over 50 years, iconic activist Ted Brown has fought for queer and black identities. But after losing his husband under heart-breaking circumstances, a devastated Ted questions the true impact of his activism. The film won the Audience Award at Iris Film Festival, screened at Doc NYC and other international film festivals, and has been nominated for the Griersons 2024. I was supported on my journey by the incredible Rosa Ruth Boesten who provided me with thoughtful mentorship throughout.

The film is no longer available to stream in the UK on Channel 4. Please be in touch for a private screener link.
